MY DAILY WEEK THIRTEEN - FOURTEEN

 FIRE DETECTOR AND WATER HEATER

Airplanes that have a passenger capacity of 20 or more are equipped with a smoke detector system that monitors the lavatories for smoke. Smoke indications provide a warning light in the cockpit or provide a warning light or audible warning at the lavatory and at flight attendant stations that would be readily detected by a flight attendant. Each lavatory must have a built-in fire extinguisher that discharges automatically. The smoke detector is located in the ceiling of the lavatory.


The lavatory smoke detector is powered by the 28-volt DC left/right main DC bus. If there is smoke in the sensing chamber of the smoke detector, the alarm LED (red) comes on. The timing circuit makes an intermittent ground. The warning horn and lavatory call light operate intermittently. The smoke detection circuit makes a ground for the relay. The energized relay makes a ground signal for the overhead electronics unit (OEU) in the central monitoring systems (CMS).

The water heater consists of a heater so that the wash water comes out hot. It is located behind the sink.



Finally, since Air Europa could not install the water heater, an IBERIA mechanic had to come.

I have a friend with many American cars, one of them, Ford Falcon, stopped while driving, it seemed that it lacked air.



When we opened the hood, we saw that the carburetor was loose. As the carburetor was loose, the car did not have enough air, so we changed the gaskets and tightened the screws well by adding special glue to fix the screws. 




Car fixed and working perfectly. 



Finally, I did a facial beauty treatment to finish the week, I have rejuvenated about two years with a revitalizing coconut mask sold in Mercadona that I recommend.  And before going to sleep, Aloe vera and rosehip oil.

D-CHECK

Aircraft maintenance   checks are periodic inspections that have to be done on all commercial and civil aircraft after a certain amount of time or usage. Military aircraft normally follow specific maintenance programmes which may, or may not, be similar to those of commercial and civil operators The D check, sometimes known as a "heavy maintenance visit" (HMV), is by far the most comprehensive and demanding check for an airplane. This check occurs approximately every 6-10 years. It is a check that more or less takes the entire airplane apart for inspection and overhaul. Even the paint may need to be completely removed for complete inspection of the fuselage metal skin. Such a check can generally take up to 50,000 man-hours, and 2 months to complete depending on the number of technicians involved. It also requires the most space of all maintenance checks, and as such must be performed at a suitable maintenance base. MY FAVORITE PLANE

BOEING 737  My favourite aircraft has always been the Boeing 737, the quintessential Boeing model. It has beautiful aesthetics, perfect lines like an eagle. The last model B737 Max was defective and this made me very sad.  Instead of redesigning the plane, they decided to add software that would avoid the problem and because they wanted to save money, they lost innocent lives and world confidence.  Is a short to medium range, twin-engine, jet, narrow-body airliner manufactured and developed by the American company Boeing Commercial Airplanes. The Boeing 737 is the highest selling turbofan passenger aircraft in aviation history. This model has been manufactured without interruption by Boeing since 1967. It is the most widely used model on domestic flights in the United States.
